The Vuong Family Palace – locally called Dinh Vuong – is located in the Sa Phin Valley, 15 kilometers west of Dong Van town center. It was built between 1919 and 1928 under the commission of Vuong Chinh Duc, the Hmong leader recognized as the regional paramount chief during French colonial rule.

The palace is arranged in three wings – front, middle, and rear – surrounded by a defensive stone wall. The rear wing housed the private quarters of Vuong Chinh Duc and features a ceremonial opium room that has been preserved as a historical display.
Lung Cu Flag Tower
Lung Cu Flag Tower marks the northernmost point of Vietnam and sits atop Dragon Mountain (Long Son) at an elevation of 1,470 meters above sea level. The modern octagonal concrete tower stands 33 meters tall. A Vietnamese national flag measuring 54 square meters flies permanently from the summit, representing the unity of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.

Ma Pi Leng Pass begins 7 kilometers southeast of Dong Van town and ends at Meo Vac Town, 25 kilometers later. The road clings to a vertical limestone cliff face at a maximum altitude of 1,200 meters, descending into the Tu San Canyon where the Nho Que River runs 700 meters below.
- Skywalk Trail: A 3-kilometer footpath carved into the cliff face east of the Ma Pi Leng Summit viewpoint. The trail requires 90 minutes round trip and is non-guided. No safety barriers are present along the cliff sections.
