TVPalm is the parent brand of TVPalm Adventure and TVPalm Ecolodge. We operate regenerative adventure tours and ecological stays in Ha Giang and Northeast Vietnam — with 70% local ethnic staff, zero-waste practices, and direct community partnerships.
This page covers the general rules that apply across both TVPalm Adventure and TVPalm Ecolodge. Individual tour and stay pages contain specific operational details. This central policy ensures consistency.

- Brand Policy
TVPalm is a registered brand. Use of the TVPalm name, logo, photographs, and marketing materials is subject to the following terms.
Logo & Name Usage
- The TVPalm name and logo may not be used by third parties without prior written consent.
- Travel agents and partners may use TVPalm materials only for the purpose of promoting TVPalm products, and only in the original format provided. Modification of logos, colours, or taglines is not permitted.
- Any use of TVPalm branding that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation must be approved in advance.
Photographs & Content
- All photographs on tvpalm.com and TVPalm social media channels are the property of TVPalm or used with permission from the original photographer.
- Guests are welcome to share personal photos from their trip. Commercial use of photos taken at TVPalm Ecolodge or during TVPalm Adventure tours requires written permission.
- Media, bloggers, and content creators visiting on a hosted or discounted basis must agree to TVPalm’s content guidelines before publication.
Reviews & Testimonials
- TVPalm may feature guest reviews on its website and marketing channels. Guests will be credited by first name only unless they provide consent for full attribution.
- TVPalm does not edit the substance of guest reviews. Selection for publication is at TVPalm’s discretion.

2. Child & Family Policy
Families are welcome. Many guests bring children to experience Ha Giang’s landscapes, cultural heritage, and mountain hospitality.
Adventure tours here involve mountainous paths, river crossings, and variable weather. Not all activities suit all ages. These guidelines help families plan accordingly.

6–11 years (1.2m–1.4m) | 50%–80% | 50% if sharing bed with parents, separate meals. 80% if requiring extra bed or full individual services. Close parental supervision required. Not suitable for high-difficulty treks (Tay Con Linh summit, Grade 4+ trails). |
12 years and above (over 1.4m) | 100% | Charged as adults (full bed, meals, all activities). 20% discount for children aged 12–16 travelling with family (effective from January 2026). |
Important Notes
- Safety: Children must be in good health. Doctor’s confirmation is strongly recommended for those under 6. We provide maximum support, but cannot accept liability for issues arising from participation in activities unsuitable for a child’s fitness level.
- Bedding & Meals: Shared bedding — no extra charge. Extra beds subject to 20–30% surcharge depending on homestay availability. Standard meal: 150,000 VND per serving, with child-friendly portions and spice levels.
- Family Groups: Groups of 4+ (including at least one child) receive an additional 5–10% discount.
- Identification: All children must carry valid ID (passport or birth certificate). Children under 6 require 1:1 adult supervision.
- Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance covering adventure activities is recommended for all family members.
3. Booking, Payment & Pricing Policy
All bookings are confirmed only after receipt of deposit and written confirmation from TVPalm. Prices are quoted in USD. VND payment is accepted at the exchange rate on the date of payment.

4. Cancellation, Postponement & Refund Policy
Plans change — we understand. However, TVPalm works directly with local Dao families, guides, porters, and small community partners. Many costs are committed early and are often non-recoverable.
Cancellation and refund terms differ between TVPalm Adventure (tours/trekking) and TVPalm Ecolodge (accommodation). Full terms are stated on each product page at the time of booking.
Applies to all bookings:
- All cancellation or postponement requests must be submitted in writing to info@tvpalm.com.
- Force Majeure (severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions) is handled with flexibility on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds, when applicable, are processed within 15–30 business days to the original payment method.

5. Safety, Health & Liability
Ha Giang offers real adventure — mountainous terrain, variable weather, remote locations. We take every reasonable precaution: trained local guides, careful route planning, weather monitoring, and strong community relationships. But we cannot eliminate all risks inherent to this type of travel.
Guest Responsibility
- Honestly assess your own health and fitness level before booking.
- Guests with serious medical conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, or mobility limitations must inform us before booking.
- Travel insurance covering adventure activities and medical evacuation is mandatory for all trekking tours and strongly recommended for all other services.
- TVPalm reserves the right to refuse participation or adjust activities if guest safety may be compromised — including due to weather, trail conditions, or fitness level.
- TVPalm will not accept liability for losses, injuries, or damages resulting from failure to follow safety instructions, undisclosed health issues, or personal negligence.

6. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect only the personal information necessary to prepare and deliver your journey safely. We do not sell personal data. We use it solely for booking management, service delivery, legal compliance, and safety coordination.
