The Palm Eco-Garden
The Palm Eco Garden and Organic Farm is the heart of TVPalm Ecolodge, carefully developed over three years to restore the land and create a closed-loop ecosystem. 100% of our vegetables come directly from this garden and the Tay Con Linh Sustainable Tourism Cooperative, ensuring every meal is fresh, local, and truly farm-to-table.
At TVPalm, sustainability isn’t just an idea or propaganda used to polish our name. It is how we live, grow, and serve every day. Our model focuses on regenerative practices that eliminate chemicals and minimize waste to protect the pristine environment of Ha Giang.
By choosing TVPalm, you enjoy the freshest, cleanest produce while directly supporting local Dao families. Your stay contributes to a transformative model of tourism in Northern Vietnam that prioritizes community prosperity and environmental restoration.

Around our organic farm, we have planted thousands of flowers and bushes. These plants make the mountain slopes look colorful and smell wonderful. They also help keep nature in balance.
– False Heather (Cẩm Tú Mai): We have thousands of these small, green bushes. They have tiny purple flowers and stay beautiful all year long because we take great care of them.
– Glory Tree (Mua): This plant belongs to our local mountains. We have hundreds of them, and they show off deep purple flowers almost every day of the year.
– Gardenia (Dành Dành): People love these for their amazing sweet smell. They are also used in traditional medicine to help people feel better.
– Hydrangea (Cẩm Tú Cầu): These plants grow in big, colorful bunches. They look very bright and pretty, even when the mountains are cloudy or misty.
– Hibiscus (Dâm Bụt): We worked hard to make the soil healthy so these plants can grow well. Now, they produce bright, colorful flowers in every season.
– Orchid Tree (Ban Tây Bắc): This tree is a famous symbol of Northwest Vietnam. We use organic fertilizer to help them grow sweet-smelling flowers every spring.
– Java Cassia, Rosy Trumpet, and Silver Trumpet: These trees bloom at different times of the year. They turn the landscape into shades of pink and gold, making the lodge look like a painting.
The gardens at TVPalm are not just for taking pretty photos. They provide a home for bees and butterflies, which helps our organic garden grow better. We believe that a beautiful landscape makes a healthy home for both nature and our guests.
We have planted hundreds of special trees all over our land. These trees do three important things: they keep the air clean, help nature stay healthy, and make the land stronger for the future.
We are growing many famous and valuable trees that are known for their strength and beauty:
– Ironwood (Lim Xanh) and Indian Mahogany (Lát Hoa)
– Tonkin Vatica (Táu Mật) and Makha (Gõ Đỏ)
– Camphor Tree (Long Não) and Magnolia (Dổi Xanh)
– Rock Dammar (Sao Đen) and Yellow Flamboyant (Lim Xẹt)
– Vietnamese Rosewood (Huỳnh Đàn)
To make the landscape even better and provide fresh food, we also have:
– Vietnamese Black Olive: A local favorite tree.
– Palms: We have both beautiful Royal Palms and local Wild Date Palms.
– Fruit Trees: We grow Mango, Jujube (Apple), Guava, and Pomelo. These trees make the area green and will provide delicious fruit for us to harvest.
These trees work together with our organic vegetable garden to create a strong home for wildlife. We are planting them today so that this forest will stay healthy and beautiful for many generations to come.
